Elite Mold & Engineering, Inc. Purchases Mitsubishi EDM Sinker to Advance Growth
Shelby Twp., Mich., Oct. 21, 2008 - Elite Mold & Engineering Inc., an industry leader providing high quality plastic injection molded parts and molded products located in Southeast Michigan, continues investing in new technology to better serve its clients. The purchase of a new EA12V die sinking EDM from Mitsubishi allows for high detail for complex parts, achieves tight tolerances required in the medical industry, and assists in the speed to market because of machine efficiencies. “The addition of yet another new machine like this takes our company’s list of capabilities to a new level,” said Joe Mandeville, President of Elite Mold & Engineering.
Elite Mold specializes in rapid-cut tooling and injection molding of high quality plastic parts used in the medical device, automotive, consumer products and electronics industries all under one roof. Because of the small sizes and intricate details many parts require, especially in medical devices, Elite Mold relies on Mitsubishi EDM technology. Mitsubishi delivers the tolerances and accuracies that allow Elite to deliver the best in quality and precision.
The machine is one of many new equipment acquisitions made by the company this year. “When you pride yourself on delivering excellence with such a quick turnaround as we do, investing in technology and innovation like this is essential to our staying competitive in the U.S. and abroad,” said Mandeville.
